I'm pairing this with an Abu Garcia Vendetta medium rod and 10 lb braid. Pleased with the setup but all together a little weighty when fishing for hours.

Best feature is having the rubber on the spool to hold line and keep it from spinning when attaching fresh line. I have 3 Pflueger reels in the $55-70 range and pleased with all of them, good price to quality balance.

Arbor pulls in line fast. I like the narrower yet thicker spool size. Attractive finish and well made.

Oh yeah this thing draws like the big boys that cost 3 times as much. I bought my first one and couldn't believe how far this thing loves to cast braided lines and leader. A good 25% increase easy!! But its also effortless to get it out there giving you much more room to concentrate on your accuracy. But be carefull.......it takes so little effort to toss yer line that over throws are all to easy and common at first.

Great reel and delivers more than expected. I now own 2 and will be replacing my old reels with the Pflueger Arbor!

Sure there are reels out there that are better, but look at the price of this one; a really good value. It's very well put together. The wide spool allows smooth, long distance casting. The waterproof drag is flawless. It cranks like a reel costing 3 times the amount they're asking for it. It's very lightweight. Great bang for the buck. It's right at the top of my reel quiver.
