The performance of this reels is amazing. I fish the Port Aransas jetties with it, and it has handled some huge bull reds, jacks, and other smaller fish. The spool can be adjusted easily for the weight of the lure or lead your casting. It has an awesome braking system so you wont get birdsnest no matter how hard you cast. Taking it apart for cleaning is very simple to, just make sure you put everything back in the same order you took it off.
