I have about 7 spinning reels for both saltwater and freshwater fishing purposes. I thought they were high quality. They got the job done but are wearing down fast. All are in the 75-100 dollar price range. I'm getting ready to go deep sea fishing in June and thought I should bring out my gear and look it over. My spinning reels are a mess. Rods are in great condition. Time to buy at least two spinning reels. I demand quality at a discount price. This is exactly what Okuma gives you with the Cedros CJ 65S saltwater fishing reel. The reel simply is a mind blower. Quality parts, spare parts provided as well. Easy to change from right to left hand without using any tools. It's a beauty right out of the box. The motion of the reel is super smooth and flawless. If you buy the 20/280 model you can go down to as low as 12 lb test. These are fine reels, I have several CJ (S for speed) series reels, they are smooth with good drag. AMAZON site list one reel as the 15/310, this reel is the CJ65S series. Why it's listed as 15/310 who knows,thats the line specks for the reel. OKUMA has newer reels out with better handle grips and better drag but you will pay more.

Just received my Cedros opened the box and it was missing the handle, "bugger" Sham it came from Amazon sales, an actual store would probably send me a spare.
